I ve tried all sorts of wrist pads to help minimize the pain of mousing about for hours on end, and this is one is a winner. It does, however, take a bit of time to get used to - you have to get into the habit of moving your arm rather than just your wrist, and you have to place your wrist just right on the pad. After a few hours it becomes routine, and the glide pad really shines. For me, it works much better than the conventional pads.
It works great with an optical mouse, and the glide pad glides easily. One small downside is that the gel wrist rest can stick to your skin a small amount if it is humid. It s a minor point - the gel is soft and cushy, and the cut-out really does help minimize wrist pain. Seems well-built and something that will last a while.
