Description

Memorex offers a full line of DVD+RW recordable blank media in jewel case packs. The 4x DVD+RW media packs can reliably be rewritten up to 1,000 times and can store up to 4.7 GB of data, approximately 120 minutes of video. Consumers can transfer home movies from VHS or 8mm cassettes, back-up computer hard drives and large files. The new 4x media is backward compatible with a firmware upgrade, which can be downloaded at www.dvdrwservices.com. With larger storage capacities on DVD media, users can store at least 6.5 times more than on a CD-R/RW. DVD media allows the preservation of favorite videos, precious photos, valuable data and an entire music library. The DVD+RW disc was developed for DVD+RW/+R drives.

Submited By: Herald Gjura on 10/28/2007 I had used some DVD+RW discs from Memorex (bought in a 5-disc pack) which I was quiet satisfied with. I recorded continuously on those discs for about 100 times or so, until they could not be used anymore, my DVD player could not read anything written in them anymore. Then, I bought the 25-pack of DVD+RW from Memorex, and it has been a complete mess ever since. I have used the first 10 discs and only in 1 of them I was able to record!!! Forget about re-writing. I could barely make these discs readable elsewhere. Money totally wasted!

Submited By: N. Hardy on 04/24/2008 With 2 years experience with these disc, I have been very satisfied with the quality and re-recording capability for me. I will advise however, that it is important that you keep a record of how many times you record over, the mode that you recorded in (Best, High, Normal, etc., on your recording device)and in what position on the disc; too many times & mixes result in losing all information on your disc forever and has become apparent to me. Memorex is my first choice however; quality, sound and dependability.
