I m on my third purchase of these discs and I have yet to experience even one failure. Reading some of the other reviews for this product might lead one to believe that there is some quality issue with them, but I m thinking those other reviewers may have been experiencing the proverbial PEBKAC (Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair) error. Those gloomy reviewers should probably take a little closer look at their settings or other system configuration issues before blaming the disc.
Given a choice, I d like to be able to stick to just one color or another instead of buying all five different colors. While they are perfect for storing, say, wedding videos, the red colored discs do not display the Lightscribe graphics as clearly as the yellow discs, but that is such a minor gripe that it is hardly worth mentioning. Better yet, how about wishing for a Lightscribe drive that actually prints in color instead of grayscale, huh?
So my final word is summed up in the title of this review: If you can find a better disc at a better price, then go buy it. I ve looked far and wide, and I have yet to find a better deal myself!
