Ever since the Digital Transition last year I ve been having problems with high band VHF signals, especially the channels beyond 30 miles. Even local VHF channels occasionally had problems. I had purchased 2 different "HDTV" antennas and lastly coupled the two together with some improvement.
The Clearstream 5 has totally solved all my reception issues with good to excellent signal signal strength on all channels. It even comes with a coupler. I had previously purchased a coupler for my other antennas but used the new one instead. My Clearstream is coupled with the AntennasDirect DB4.
Assembly was simple but I found the screws in the box were too long that attached the front and rear sections together. I substituted shorter screws and had no other issues.
In general, the Clearstream 5 is a worthwhile investment if you have any VHF channels in your area and you have reception problems.
