Submited By: Ramkumar Balaraman on 10/21/2009 Use it for hooking up a PC to my TV in the living room. They are on either side of my patio entrance and the cable runs along the floor. Translation: gets stepped on fairly often. Has held up just fine for about 5 months now.

If you still have a TV thst does not have either HDMI or component inputs, then this is the next best option. Further, if you have a source that has no output option better than S-video, connecting it directly to the TV via S-video can sometimes give better picture results than the upconversion processors found in many Home Theater receivers.

Submited By: schmecher on 02/16/2010 Works fine. I have a Dell 1505 and connect it to my Plasma because I don t have HDMI or DVI output. It sucks to go from HD to 800x600 VGA though so I only use it to play movies I ve "borrowed" from torrents. Gotta get a upconverter.
